Job OverviewThe University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics, Agency seeks applications for an Assistant Director, Creative Videographer (Assistant Creative Videographer). This is a full-time position, salaried, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Reporting to the Director of Creative Video, the successful candidate will be expected to assist in the execution of artistic, cinematic video, hype pieces, and social media content that highlight staff, coaches, and student-athletes to generate excitement around athletic programs while following University of Cincinnati and departmental policies, NCAA Division I, and Conference bylaws and regulations. The position requires some evening and weekend hours.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with department lead to edit videos and photos for a variety of promotional purposes.
- Incorporate music, video, static & motion graphics, and VoiceOver to tell compelling and visually pleasing stories.
- Attend university and athletic events to capture content.
- Work closely with department lead to meet deadlines for release of content.
- Setup and tear down video, photograph, and audio equipment before and after events.
- Keep equipment in good working order.
- Support day to day operations in logging and archiving of footage.
- May be required to drive a university vehicle and/or student-athletes.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required EducationBachelor's Degree
Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
