Job Summary/Basic Function:
Oversees all aspects of ticket sales for the athletic department. Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director, Ticket Sales & Operations, this position will be responsible for leading the entire ticket sales unit as well as increasing revenue through new ticket sales for all ticketed sporting events. This position is responsible for leading a team that provides first class customer service and strengthens relationships with customers.

Level Scope:
Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees at the entry or intermediate level. Functions as advisor to unit and administration and sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results. Analyzes and resolves problems through drawing from prior experiences. Interprets policies (e.g., fiscal management, HR, contracts and grants, resource management in defined areas) and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Supervises staff to assure accountability and stewardship of campus resources (operational, financial, and human) in compliance with departmental goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:
The Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Sales and Service must:
• Directly responsible for oversight of the ticket sales staff.
• Required to create, generate, and execute annual ticket sales plans.
• Supervisory responsibilities include scheduling and approving time for payroll, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Works closely with ticket operations, marketing, Bronco Athletic Association, communications and operations departments, as well as, campus entities.
• Required to meet or exceed the annual sales goals established by Associate AD, Ticket Sales & Operations.
• Hire, train, and motivate the sales staff, creating an environment set-up for success.
• Collaborate on lead generation, lead qualification, and strategy for most effectively utilizing leads.
• Responsible for developing systems that fall in line with the Boise State policies and procedures while monitoring the sales staff's activity and professional growth.
• Sell a full menu for all Boise State University ticketed sports including; season ticket, mini-plans, group, and individual game tickets to include: Football, Men's Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Women's Basketball, Gymnastics, and Softball.
• Build relationships with current fans and prospects to consistently grow a pipeline of prospects.
• Demonstrate a tenacity and determination to achieve new business sales targets in traditional, creative, and innovative ways.

• Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Conference and Boise State Rules Compliance.
• This position will be required to work a non-traditional schedule which can include extended days and hours, holidays and weekends.
• Expected to attend events (e.g., home sporting events, fan events, grassroot events, marketing events) which include nights and weekends.
• Identify prospective donors for the Bronco Athletic Association.
• Exhibit a team centric mindset in working with key internal departments such as Marketing, Ticket Operations and the Bronco Athletic Association.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Knowledge of NCAA rules
• Experience and understanding of ticket sales, marketing and distribution of a ticket program
• Ability to manage, organize and motivate staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking skills and ability to handle sensitive situations
• Proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing or related field.
• Experience with Archtics Ticketing System
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience creating and/or implementing comprehensive sales training programs.
• Experience utilizing social media platforms to generate leads and/or increase sales.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $65,478.40 - $70,000 per year.
