Due to the strong demand for our award winning tools, we are looking to hire an experienced Assembly Operations Manager at our Power Tools facility located in Murphy, NC.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and direct the assembly process in building a diverse line of cordless and pneumatic power tools. You will work with a cross functional team including design engineering, product management, quality, and materials. You are responsible for the safety of all associates. You will be responsible for achieving a competitive advantage in terms of safety, quality, cost, and timely delivery of product. You will embarce our Rapid Continuous Improvement process to reduce cost and improve safety and quality. The assembly operation is a 3 shifts/day in scope and has 4 direct supervisors that will report to you. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 10 plus years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strategic thinker with strong planning and tactical skill sets
- Demonstrated track record of excellence in continuous improvement and change management
- Project Management skill sets
- Strong Leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
