Looking for a dynamic role in asset protection? Look no further! Walmart is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as the Asset Protection Manager in Arcadia, Florida.

What you'll do:

  • Manage daily Asset Protection Operations by monitoring and ensuring facility performance related to safety and security (e.g., security systems, fire protection, safety programs, audits to identify potential loss, food safety, process safety management); and monitoring and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (i.e. OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT, FDA, EPA, etc.) relating to daily operations.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on policies, standards, and procedures; monitor associate compliance to policies and procedures; distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders in area of responsibility by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; teaching, supporting, and modeling Logistics and company policies and procedures; identifying training and development needs; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Being a trusted advisor: Develop strong and trusting relationships - as a Asset Protection leader working to solve issues, address pain points and implement strategies which increase overall safety, security and compliance of the organization.
  • Overseeing business performance: Conduct deep dive analysis on issues effecting performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
  • Producing compelling presentations and training: Develop and deliver clear, cohesive, and skillful communication regarding safety, security, and compliance.
  • Working cross-functionally: Collaborate with Supply Chain business partners to deliver best-in-class Asset Protection solutions.
  • Working Autonomously: You will be responsible for management of the above and action with limited manager oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Both Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Law Enforcement or related field; AND 1 year Asset Protection management experience.
  • 2 or more years supervisory experience in an Asset Protection industry.
  • Certification in an Asset Protection related field (e.g. Loss Prevention Professional (LPP), Certified Forensic Investigator (CFI), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Safety & Health Technologist (OHST)).
  • 1 year Microsoft Office experience.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, or related field.
Option 2: 2 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protections, Security, within Supply Chain, Retail.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
