Opportunity:

If so, this might be the perfect opportunity for you, because we’re seeking a motivated and driven Analyst to join a great group of individuals on our Corporate Accounting team.

The Revenue Analyst is responsible, together with the overall revenue team, for ensuring the entire contract lifecycle from drafting our contracts to shipping our products and billing is executed effectively, along with making sure that the revenue close process is completed timely and all significant revenue recognition matters have been identified.

This role offers a great opportunity to learn and develop strong revenue recognition skills while working closely with the worldwide revenue team, along with and other internal operational groups such as our contracts team, accounts receivable and billings departments, logistics, FP&A, and our sales organization. This will allow you to develop a broad and deep understanding of the Company’s business and operations essential for strong career development.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform revenue close activities including executing journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, supplemental monthly reporting schedules and balance sheet/income statement variance analysis in accordance with our monthly close schedule.
  • Review sales contracts and execute revenue allocations in accordance with company policy and U.S. GAAP.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other teams (IT, accounting and finance, etc.) in system and process implementation projects and perform testing to validate system design is appropriate.
  • Actively identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure.
  • Perform relevant internal controls for responsible areas in the Company’s revenue recognition process as well as update process documentation when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and U.S. GAAP for responsible areas.
  • Prepare audit schedules, provide analysis, and work with external auditors as needed
  • Perform accounting accruals and payments for rebates to customers.
  • Work on ad hoc projects and other analysis

Skills/Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree is Accounting/Finance is required
  • Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of accounting related experience or related field
  • Public accounting and/or relevant experience is desirable  
  • Detail oriented, organized, motivated and able to function in a fast-paced environment, especially during quarter-end reporting periods.
  • Knowledge of SAP (or other large ERP), Hyperion, and EDW is a plus.
  • Strong fundamental accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and work on multiple priorities at once effectively.
  • Strong Excel skills.
