Team Torchlight, within our Revenue Operations (ROPS) group, is a key driver of DaVita's growth. Team Torchlight identifies, develops, and implements strategies to support DaVita's growth and financial health in a quickly evolving healthcare landscape. Additionally, the team focuses on optimizing current processes through report automation and database management.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst on Team Torchlight, you will join a team of highly motivated individuals and will be a key support player in creating, enhancing, and managing our internal teams' physical data environment, becoming a SME in DaVita's general data warehouse, enhancing operating analytics, improving existing reporting, and helping others from a Business Intelligence perspective as they identify new strategic growth opportunities.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for gaining a detailed understanding of supported operations, DaVita systems and data in order to effectively manage recurring ETL processes, update existing reporting and conduct ad hoc data requests in support of our Torchlight Analytics team. This includes updating and developing new reports according to departmental needs, troubleshooting report errors, report automation, documentation and explaining report and data logic in a way that your business partner will understand.

Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Creates new recurring reports with assistance (Excel, Tableau, Cognos, Anaplan)
  • Updates existing report packages and code
  • Troubleshoots and resolves most recurring report errors autonomously
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel (lookups, pivot tables, VBA, etc.), Python, and other reporting tools
  • Knowledge of database and query syntax (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Netezza)
  • Excellent time management and the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks/responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong sense of accountability; provides actionable and timely support
  • Aptitude for seeing and understanding the big picture in addition to crunching the numbers
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, easily digestible manner to a range of audiences

  • Salary/Wage Range
  • $55,000 - $73,000
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
