The Kittell Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

We are currently looking for a Home Services Worker CTT Instructor to join our team at Kittrell Job Corps. We need a dynamic and passionate individual who can impart essential skills in the Home Services field to our students. As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in home services and a desire to inspire and guide the next generation of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for Home Services Workers in compliance with industry standards.
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cover a range of topics, including but not limited to, housekeeping, cooking, and home maintenance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student participation and collaboration.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them develop practical skills and professionalism.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and updates, integrating real-world examples into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure successful skill acquisition.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Home Services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teaching or training experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• A passion for mentoring and empowering young individuals.
