Founded in 2015, the Master of Arts in Sport Coaching was the first degree in GSPP history to be offered fully online. We have established additional fully online graduate certificates in in sport, strength and conditioning, and fitness coaching. As of fall 2021, we're launching a new undergraduate minor in Kinesiology and Sport Studies, with plans for continued growth in students and degree offerings. The minor is an on-campus program, with the likelihood of offering some courses in summer or inter-term online. GSPP seeks to educate students to provide culturally competent services and coaching to clients, athletes, and the community. Position Summary
The Sport Coaching program at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology is accepting applications for adjunct faculty instructors to teach a variety of courses in the 2022-2023 academic year. Essential Functions
Adjunct faculty are required to complete DU-wide online training, plan and teach courses (some courses are on-campus whereas most will be fully asynchronous online using Zoom), be available to meet with students online or in-person, respond to student questions, assign and grade papers and exams as appropriate, and adhere to all relevant DU policies and procedures, including assessment of educational outcomes and student data.
