Job Summary

The Active Directory Engineer will develop, administer and maintain infrastructure systems, including maintenance, migrations, and integrations involving new and existing systems. This position requires the ability to design and implement systems automation strategies, systems and application monitoring and troubleshooting systems performance and security analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
• Own root cause analysis and problem management for corporate identity management environment which includes, Active Directory, Azure, and Okta
• Candidate will serve as an escalation point for authentication support and troubleshooting, and provides guidance and direction in the resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
• Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology issues.
• Candidate will work closely with third-party support teams in the maintenance, configuration, and installation of all Active Directory-related infrastructure systems.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all domain infrastructure systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying the completion of scheduled jobs.
• Install, configure, and maintain multi-domain and multi-forest Active Directory environment
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Improve existing processes for recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
• Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations

Required Knowledge and Desired Skills:

• 7+ years experience with multi-domain, multi-forest Active Directory infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge of Active Directory security
• Expert knowledge of DNS
• Expert knowledge of MS Group policy creation and management
• Experience with troubleshooting Active Directory authentication issues
• Expert knowledge of AD Object management
• Experience with AD Connect
• Expert knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
• Experience working with Active Directory Certificates Store.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 license management.
• Experience managing and integrating various Office 365 services (EOL, Intune, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, etc).
• Expert knowledge with the configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows servers, including group policy management, certificate management, backups, and patching
• Experience with managing Windows systems using Powershell
