Local Unit & Position Description

DNV Healthcare group is seeking to fill the role of Accreditation Support.

This position can be located at our office in Katy, Texas (Houston, TX area) OR Milford, Ohio (Cincinnati, OH area)

The successful candidate will be responsible for all CMS correspondence between DNV Healthcare, Client and CMS. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently, must be able to multi-task and proactively manage their workload. A high level of verbal and written communication is necessary. The candidate must have the ability to coordinate processes to effectively manage customer issues and must have the ability to achieve outcomes with respect to the coordinating activities with others and to work toward continually improving Accreditation processes between DNV Healthcare and CMS.

What You'll Do

  • Publish regular schedule of deemed surveys to CMS
  • Prepare and distribute notification letters (based on accreditation determination from supervisory review)
  • Communicate certificate release status to certs team (deemed programs)
  • Maintain accredited list for deemed programs
  • Monitor currency of deemed status in production system (for scheduler)
  • Maintain website posting for all deemed/certified customers (primary source)
  • Verify deemed status for individual provider/payor inquiries
  • Manage CMS performance measure data/disparity rate communication
  • Track validation surveys and reconcile against CMS validation reports
  • Pre-survey verifications (CAH L&D, 855 MAC letters)
  • Coordinate CMS AO contact directory
  • Coordinate participation in CMS meetings/conference calls/task forces, maintain meeting records
  • Maintain CMS contact directories (CO, ROs, MACs, SAs)
  • Coordinate subpoena intake and response
  • Process Hospital Withdrawals/Terminations
  • Send information to certificate issuance team for creation of NIAHO and Certification certificates

Position Qualifications

What is Required
  • High School or GED
  • Minimum of 2 year demonstrated experience in a healthcare provider environment in a related functional area such as quality, performance improvement, medical records, human resources, or administration
  • Must develop appropriate skills in DNV NGPS, Excel, Outlook, ASSURE and other related software necessary to manage the accreditation work
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • We conduct a pre-employment background check and drug screen
What is Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 1 year demonstrated experience in a healthcare provider environment in a related functional area such as quality, performance improvement, medical records, human resources, or administration
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Previous experience in Hospital Quality
