About the Role

The Accounting Specialist I will be responsible for applying all incoming payments daily. This position is also responsible for researching any unapplied monies due to missing remittances. This position interacts with both internal and external customers.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Print off Payments/Check deposits on a daily basis
• Apply bank deposits received daily
• Apply intercompany deposits received weekly
• Contact all customers for remittances when not provided
• Run cash receipts reconciliation; balance receipt reconciliation against bank statement
• Research and correct cash app errors
• Manage credit email box
• Manage and maintain a daily spreadsheet of cash received including overpayments
• Identify and compile general ledger payments

Basic Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent
• 0-1 years of experience, Entry level

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and other applications
• Proficient in 10-key
