Position Title:

Specialist Accounting - HVO

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing a variety of HVO accounting functions including monthly financial close and accounts reconciliation. Prepare rental revenue support for Residential Whole Owners and wire payments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years accounting experience. Timeshare experience a plus
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
  • Prepares and post month-end journal entries and account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Process accrual journal entry for Siesta Key developer/Post wire payment for Siesta Key developer
  • Post Whole Owner Reserve wire payment
  • Prepare rental revenue support for Siesta Key and NorthStar Whole Owners/Prepare Onyx wire payments
  • Balance Receipt file and Advance Payments to RCC system.
  • Ensures account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with SOPs.
  • Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Accounting Knowledge - Knowledge of general accounting principles and current company accounting policies and procedures. This includes general accounting and financial reporting, auditing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable - Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including knowledge of subledger reconciliation and controls.

  • Basic Computer Skills - Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
