RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a prestigious New York City-based family office is seeking an exceptional Accounting Coordinator with expertise in Quickbooks. This job will be in office 4 days per week and offers outstanding compensation along with amazing free benefits.Responsibilities:
  • Execute general ledger entries using QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
  • Record transactions on a cash basis, including foreign currency transactions and trust distribution activity
  • Record all incoming and outgoing payments
  • Conduct reconciliations between our event database and accounting records
  • Record intercompany balances for bill-back purposes
  • Collaborate in the processing of invoices to support smooth financial transactions
  • Assist in the management of supplier data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Enter data accurately and compile reports from the accounting system to support decision-making processes
  • Provide assistance and support to internal personnel as needed


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting
  • Understanding of Basic Bookkeeping and Accounting. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks is required
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Comfortable using Outlook for communication and coordination
  • Familiarity with Adobe PDF for document management


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
