Position Summary

Perform accounting functions involved in maintaining Teleflex Interventional general ledgers and accounts payable sub-ledgers.

Principal Responsibilities

• Perform accounting functions as follows:
o Preparation of journal entries.
o Preparation of account reconciliations (accounts payable related).
o Perform accounts payable duties to include:
i. Vouchering supplier invoices.
ii. Verifying the price being paid on the invoice is consistent with the purchase order.
iii. Ensuring price discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices are resolved.
iv. Verifying appropriate sign-off limits per corporate policy.
v. Verifying quantities received match quantities invoiced.
vi. Completing weekly supplier check payment processes.
• Ensure all internal controls are in place and being followed.
• Communicate with operations and finance personnel to gather and analyze data to resolve issues.
• Assist in the review and closing of production work orders.
• Assist in the preparation of data for external and internal auditors.
• Other tasks and projects as required.

Education / Experience Requirements

• High School diploma required, Post-Secondary degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 1 to 4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with QAD preferred.

• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks and shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
• This job requires you to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms about 1/3 of the time.
• This job requires you to talk or hear about 2/3 of the time and that you sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel over 2/3 of the time.
• This job requires that up to 10 pounds be lifted or force to be exerted about 1/3 of the time.
• This job requires that you meet the following vision requirements: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
