This Account Manager III will be working primarily with Marsh's Fedex Ground contractors & assisting Senior Account Managers in retaining & growing our national database.

At Marsh, we are seeking adedicated Account Manager that can successfully managed a book of business, including retaining and generating new business. In this role, you will be making recommendations to clients and prospective clientsbased off risk analysis and strategic planning. You will also be responsible for meeting sales goals, strengthening and maintaining relationships with clients, andproviding best in class service.

What can you expect?

  • Add value as a leader, building strong customer relationships to grow the book of business
  • Spend time consulting customers on products
  • Work with business contacts both internal and external to resolve customer issues, improve customer experience, or coverage offering
  • Work with existing policyholders via the phone, email, and additional forms of communication to review their coverage needs
  • Proactively reaching out to an existing customer base to grow and retain business

We will count on you to:
  • Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across supported product line
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide best in class service to drive growth and retention
  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard client questions to improve the client experience
  • Work closely with external and internal business partners to provide customer feedback and at times partner in creating resolutions
  • Keep abreast of changing market conditions, and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
  • Manage and record all activities in the workflow system to ensure timely follow up by client, carriers, client team and delivery of final policy
  • Develop relationships with prospective customers and and promote the sale of property and casualty insurance products
  • Act as a subject matter expert for other colleagues
  • Provide expert guidance on training materials to help instill a solid commercial insurance foundation for all new team members
  • Have a positive attitude, a team oriented mindset and the ability to jump in and support wherever needed

What you need to have:
  • 3+ years client and customer service experience
  • In depth expertise on loss runs and experience mods with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build and nurture client relationships
  • Ability to plan, organize, be detail and deadline oriented and maintain a high accuracy rate
  • Mental Demands: Must have the ability to focus on task for extended periods of time
  • Property & Casualty license OR be able and willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work an 8 hour shift within the hours of operation; 7 am - 5:30pm CT, Monday-Friday
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support the needs of your customers
