The Role:

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for acquiring new business from prospects and existing accounts through sales of Accuity solutions within the North East Region of the US.

You will plan, organize, and execute sales campaigns with the emphasis on revenue retention and account revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily activities: prospect/client effective conversations, LinkedIn post, LinkedIn engagement
  • Retaining and renewing existing clients - total book of business circa $1million per annum
  • Identifying challenges and problems your clients are willing and have a desire to solve
  • With the assistance of your Manager, you will plan, organize, and execute sales campaigns to enable our clients to solve their problems and challenges
  • Work closely with other Accuity departments (pre-sales, marketing, legal, product, implementation, senior leadership) to manage the entire customer experience, sales cycle, and delivery of Accuity's solutions ensuring an excellent customer journey

Development:
  • Daily: 30 minutes of study/learning/development
  • Weekly: 3 hours of sales training/coaching with your Manager incorporating self-reflection on successes and lessons learned, 1-2-1 session with your manager
  • Quarterly: reflection on your previous quarter: successes, failures, and lessons learned


Candidates need:
  • Between 1 and 3 years of B2B sales experience
  • An interest in uncovering client pains, and helping to solve them
  • An ability to follow a process; supported with professional and personal life examples
  • Able to demonstrate how to form good habits and stick to them, professionally or personally
  • A keen interest in self-reflection and personal/professional development
  • Open to training and coaching - this role will require a commitment to three hours of coaching per week, provided by the hiring Sales Manager
