Basic Job Functions:

• • Set up/ operate console controller roll mill equipment, produce properly formed products components in accordance with accepted practice and quality standards
• • Work from schedules, work orders, prints, verbal and/or written instructions to perform duties.
• • Select proper gauge and color of material to be run
• • Adjust roll former as necessary to obtain proper configuration of product
• • Set equipment to obtain desired length and quantity desired when necessary
• • Properly and accurately use various measuring instruments such as tape, square and protractor
• • Change rolls on roll former when necessary
• • Bundle orders in preparation for shipment by using skids and metal handling equipment as required
• • Inspect and make minor repairs to equipment when necessary
• • Work with and assist Maintenance Personnel on major repairs in your area
• • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper leadership.
• • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• • Perform preventive maintenance operations. Maintain storage of stock supplies and notify proper leadership of low or out of stock conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

• • Willingness to learn and operate all machinery pertaining to the Rollform Department.
• • Be flexible to operate multiple machines as needed when scheduling permits certain needs of specific lines.
• • Be open to all shifts as the work schedule changes.
• • Able to operate and perform at a high level without being supervised or monitored.
• • Have open communication to other shifts for efficiency and consistency.
• • Take ownership of the lines you operate
• • Able to work as part of a Team
