Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the CNC machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a (CNC) machine; using precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work.

The CNC Machinist opportunity currently offers:

  • 2nd shift hours of 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • A 10% Shift Differential added to your hourly rate
  • $5,000 Sign On Bonus
The CNC Machinist will have the opportunity to:
  • Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; and calculating requirements, including basic math and geometry.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and job instructions to determine procedures and operational sequence and measuring devices such as: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, verniers, scales and similar tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience programming G code.
  • At least 3 years' experience setting up and operating lathes, mills, and other machine tools.
  • Experience with Haas or Fanuc Control, preferred.
  • Must be available to work 2nd shift, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from approval for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
